Changes

Here is Easton when he first came home from the hospital and a picture of him at six months. It's crazy to think that he has gone through all these changes in just a small amount of time. I'm really starting to realize that with each new day, my baby boy is getting bigger. Anytime I start to get stressed out or when Easton wakes me from my deep slumber at 2:30 in the morning, I remind myself to enjoy all the good and the bad because it will fly by and be over before I know it!

I feel so blessed to be at home for the summer. I really enjoy this stage of development. I'm having so much fun hanging with my baby boy! I absolutely enjoy snuggling with him and showing all my love the best I can.

The Dog Days of Summer

Gizmo our 5 year old shitzu loves to spend the day curled up getting some zzzz. However, whenever Easton is sleeping somehow Gizmo finds it in him to bark at least once. Most of the time it's at nothing! Go figure!

Here I am sitting with my daddy hanging out on the couch! He makes the best sounds and funny faces! I'm pretty lucky to have such a cool daddy!

Landscaping Fun TImes

Caleb worked really hard outside making the curb appeal of our house amazing! He planted six new trees, carried 8 ton of rock back and forth in flip flops, and drank a 12 pack of Mt. Dew! He really did a great job! We also have a new patio! Look for more complete pictures to come!

Laundry...

Today I thought I would give mom a hand with the laundry! Boy was she sure glad I pitched in and "helped." I think she ended up having to refold the laundry when I finally got out of the basket!

I like Books

Mommy reads to me twice a day. Once in the morning, and once before bed. I get to listen to three books each time. Mommy does the best voices for the books. She is super silly. Here I am taking a break from my busy schedule to get lost in a book. Mommy said it's very important to read! She must know, she's a teacher.

Hey....Where the M&M's Go?

What kind of sick joke is this?
You give me a wrapper and there's no M&M's inside? Mommy said I have to wait until I get older to eat M&M's. That's ok because I played with the wrapper for a good twenty minutes. I guess you can say it doesn't take much to entertain me!

Dinner Date

Tonight my gal pal Kayley came over for dinner. You can say it was our first offical date. The only thing that's missing is the candle light.

Brenna & Big E

Brenna and I are practicing standing. As you can see I'm flexing my leg muscles. Those rolls you see are actually my muscles bulging from my thighs! Don't let anyone else tell you differently!

We Are Family

Here's a couple shots with my cousins Micha and Brenna. We hung out at Grandma and Grandpa Van Cleaves' house. We even went to the Zoo together! We had so much fun hanging out and playing! Thanks Micha for showing me how to race cars around th rug! I can't wait to get bigger to play with you! Brenna thanks for showing me how to sit up better! I can do it up to about 15 minutes now!

Do you like long walks in your stroller? Do you dig rice cereal? How about oatmeal? Do you love taking long bubble baths while playing with a rubber duckie, frogs that squirt, and wind up boats? If you like snuggling and sucking your thumb then you are the one for me. Looking at the picture, you can tell I'm a ton of fun!

Me & Gizmo

Here I am with Gizmo! I have really started to notice him whenever he's in the room. Gizmo also likes to sleep by my crib at night to keep me safe! He seams to think that this guy that brings letters and mail to the house is going to hurt me or something. Every time he barks and barks to let him know whose boss. The only thing that I don't like about Gizmo is when he tries to take my toys and binkys. He gets in trouble!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day Caleb! You are such an amazing man and father! Thanks for all you do to provide for our family, help out with the never ending laundry, and all the love and encouragement you give me daily! I know Easton adores you just as I do!

For being a father just shy of six months you have done an amazing job! There is a reason Easton lights up when you walk into the room, laughs uncontrollably when you make goofy faces or tickle him, because he knows you love him!

I will always remember when you came to me and said you were ready to start a family! I was so excited! It didn't take long to make that a reality! Thanks for being my rock and being by my side through my pregnancy and delivery! What an amazing year it has been and I look forward going on this adventure called parenthood with you by my side! Thanks for your leadership and love!

Hanging @ the Lake With Macey and Maddie

Here I am with two fun gals that came to visit me all the way from Texas! We had soooo much fun at Mimi and Papa's cabin. We rode the boat, played with toys, read books, and even shared a laugh or two! Macey and Maddie are super fun! I hope to see my cousin's more a we grow! Thanks for all the good times gals!

It was very hard to get us all looking at the camera at the same time! There was so much going on and so many people trying to get our attention! We all have a smile in at least one of these!

Out To Eat

The Van Cleave's went out to eat as a family on Father's Day! It was a great time! Uncle Matt, Auntie Lydia, cousin Micha, Grandma and Grandpa Van Cleave, Uncle Jared, Auntie Steph, cousin Brenna, and Auntie Anna were all there! We had a blast! You can even begin to think of all the giggles and good times we had! It was so special to be with everyone!
